Macy’s is placing a major promotional focus on its annual Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, including the lineup of celebrities participating and a range of products developed to commemorate the 2025 event.
In what it describes as a way to join in the 2025 parade on November 28 and celebrations surrounding it, Macy’s has launched collectibles across product categories, including drinkware, kids’ dinnerware, portable hydration, home décor, snow globes, toys and apparel. Products include a Thanksgiving Day Parade 2025 NYC scenic coffee mug priced at $19.99, a Thanksgiving Day Parade 2025 scalloped 6-piece appetizer plate priced at $59.99, and an Apotheke Thanksgiving Day Parade 2025 10.5-ounce candle priced at $48. Also, a stainless steel hot-and-cold beverage bottle (pictured above) for the Thanksgiving Day Parade 2025, featuring a scenic design, is priced at $29.99.
In addition, consumers will have an opportunity to enter a first-of-its-kind Macy’s Parade sweepstakes on the retailer’s app, the company noted. Running through December 2, 2025, it gives consumers the chance to win prizes throughout the season, including a VIP trip to New York City to attend the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2026 and a $5,000 shopping spree with a Macy’s Personal Stylist.
Performers who will appear during the 99th version of the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade event will include EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, the singing voices of HUNTR/X from Netflix’s hit animated original film “KPop Demon Hunters.” Also performing will be cast members from Broadway hits “Buena Vista Social Club,” “Just in Time,” and “Ragtime.” Musical and dance performances will feature notables such as country music star Drew Baldridge, rockers Foreigner, ‘80s icon Debbie Gibson, singer/songwriter Jewel, soul/funk group Kool & the Gang, singer Darlene Love and reggae/pop luminary Shaggy, not to mention the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes.
“Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is the official kickoff to the holiday season and has been part of the nation’s stories and traditions for generations,” said Will Coss, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade executive producer. “The most wonderful stories start at the parade. On Thanksgiving morning, larger-than-life character balloons, awe-inspiring floats and showstopping performances will create unforgettable moments and lasting holiday memories for millions of spectators in New York City and across the country.”
