Target Corp. has premiered its Thanksgiving feasting push, spotlighting how consumers can put together a reasonably priced meal while dressing up the household with new homewares.
The retailer has launched a nostalgic John Derian for Target harvest collection. The lineup, developed with the designer, includes dinnerware such as a four-piece stoneware appetizer plate set featuring an image of a Christmas tree lit with candles priced at $25, a stoneware serving platter enhanced with a leaf design priced at $25 and a four-pack of cookie print cocktail glasses priced at $25. The John Derian for Target Stoneware Milk and Cookies Plate, priced at $20, is rolling out for shoppers who want to leave out something for Santa.
Decorative items in the collection include a 14-inch blow-molded Christmas Tree with base priced at $35, a five-wick wreath candle priced at $15 and a 60-inch glass cookie garland priced at $35, as well as a range of ornaments. Target is also touting folk-inspired ceramics, colored glassware and seasonal dinnerware from its Threshold brand for holiday homes, all priced at $20 and under.
The housewares and home decorative elements of the holiday push come alongside the 2026 edition of the Target holiday meal for four, including a 10-pound turkey and such associated Thanksgiving standards as cranberry sauce for under $20.
“What I love about Target during the holidays is our ability to help families celebrate in style while spending less, and that’s exactly what we’re doing this Thanksgiving,” said Lisa Roath, Target executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of food, essentials and beauty. “Our under-$20 Thanksgiving meal is priced even lower than last year’s, but we’re not stopping there. We also have new seasonal sides, stylish table décor, festive apparel and beautiful greenery and florals. Put it all together and Target’s making it an absolute joy for everyone to create an elevated, unforgettable Thanksgiving experience.”
