Shopen AI Aims To Simplify Product Discovery Across Channels

Posted In: Retail Articles

Moon Commerce Group has launched Shopen AI, a mobile app designed to help consumers discover products, deals and personalized recommendations across multiple online shopping channels in a single experience.

The launch comes as consumer shopping behavior shifts toward discovery-driven commerce, with shoppers increasingly turning to creators, social media, reviews, online communities, and recommendations when making purchasing decisions, Moon Commerce stated. Industry research, it added, indicates that 82% of consumers now use social media for product discovery and research, underscoring how modern shopping is fragmenting.

The Shopen platform is designed to reduce the time spent searching across multiple websites, marketplaces, social platforms and content sources, Moon Commerce maintained, while making product discovery more engaging, relevant, and personalized. Consumers can use Shopen AI to discover trending products, creator-inspired recommendations, curated collections and promotional offers tailored to their interests.

On the site, Amazon Prime Day is currently a category in a shopping function. Shopen AI is closely linked to Amazon’s operations. Indeed, right at the top of the landing page, Shopen has a link to Amazon promo codes. Consumers can also shop by product category, with the array ranging from home, apparel and beauty to automotive and electronics, as well as by collections such as Save with Code and Over 50% off and brands such as Stanley, Apple and Amazon Basics.

Other designations listed below the top bar include the aforementioned Amazon Promo Codes, Sale, Under $15, and Home Essentials. The home page also includes a Shopping Trend designation presenting hot items and a central carousel that currently features graphic links to Home Improvement and Decor, Prime Big Deal Days and Get Ready for Kickoff, aimed at soccer fans interested in gear related to the FIFA World Cup, which begins June 11.

“Consumers are discovering products across creators, social media, reviews, online communities and marketplaces more than ever before,” said Lori Wagner, Shopen AI head of commerce and communications, in introducing the operation. “Shopen AI helps simplify that experience through personalized recommendations, creator-inspired finds, intelligent deal discovery and curated shopping inspiration designed around how consumers shop today.”
