Kohl’s is entering the holiday season touting curated gift collections, deeper inventory behind the season’s most sought-after items and enhanced in-store and digital experiences.
Home-specific holiday initiatives include creating a holiday decor selection starting at $9.99. Kohl’s has expanded Disney and Peanuts licensed collections, offering unique products designed exclusively for Kohl’s. Shoppers can explore kitchen innovations from Shark, Ninja, KitchenAid, and Martha Stewart, among others, while a dedicated Hosting HQ destination will bring together small electrics, tabletop, and festive accents in one easy-to-shop location, Kohl’s said.
Kohl’s is launching an integrated holiday marketing campaign that will include in-store initiatives. The North Kohl’s campaign highlights the festive moments families plan for most in a warm, imaginative way, while reminding consumers they can find great gifts and dependable value at Kohl’s stores and online. The campaign revolves around seasonal themes as it places emphasis on style, home and gifting. It incorporates storytelling hubs including Hosting Headquarters, Cozy Corner and Style Square, as well as family-friendly activities occurring in stores throughout the holidays.
To help shoppers stay on budget, Kohl’s is offering clear $5 to $20 pricing tiers and stocking stuffers starting at $4.99 across departments, the company indicated. Half the assortment in a refreshed in-store Holiday Gift Shop is new and the majority of items are priced at less than $15.
Kohl’s already already is running a holiday gift shop on kohls.com, featuring items such as a Crock-Pot 7-quart Countdown Cook & Carry Slow Cooker priced at $74.99, down from $99.99; a Cuisinart PerfecTemp, 14-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker priced at $119.99, down from $149.99; an InfinitiPRO by Conair 1875-Watt AC Pro Styler Hair Dryer priced at $41.99, down from $59.99; and a private-label Mingle & Co. 3.5-qt.
