Former CFO Nystrom Returns to At Home as CEO

At Home has filled its CEO post with board director Judd Nystrom, a former CFO of the home and housewares retailer.

Nystrom (pictured above) has served as independent director and the chair of the At Home board audit and risk management committee since December 2025.  He will remain on the At Home board of directors, the company reported. From 2013 to 2018, Nystrom was At Home CFO, playing an instrumental role in setting up the company’s initial public offering in 2016. He previously was CFO at Caliber Collision.

Nystrom’s appointment follows the July 2 retirement of former CEO Brad Weston and promotion of Aaron Rose to president and chief commercial officer.

“Judd (Nystrom) combines deep familiarity with At Home, strong financial discipline and a commitment to developing people,” said John Eck, At Home, executive chairman. “He understands the work underway and the opportunity ahead. We are confident he is the right leader to partner with the At Home team to drive brand growth across stores and digital, modernize our supply chain, and deliver a more inspiring, differentiated and rewarding customer experience.”
