Dollar General is making its annual “Call for Small Businesses,” which invites suppliers that haven’t sold the retailer products within the past 18 months to learn more about partnership opportunities.
DG’s latest “Call for Small Businesses” campaign extends a multi-year initiative to increase engagement with a variety of small businesses, the company stated. Dollar General’s Small Business Development Program provides certified vendors with the opportunity to learn and develop through the company’s SBD Academy, as well as resources to support product discovery access to services that provide funding, counseling and training, financial enablement programs and multiple engagement events. DG provides funding and business counseling options through the program in partnership with the United States Small Business Administration as well as financial enablement tools from Citi and Bridge.
