The executive suite at Dollar General keeps evolving with the announcement of nine leadership updates across business intelligence, real estate, information technology, human resources and store operations departments.
Among the executive initiatives, Travis Nixon has transitioned to senior vice president, chief data and artificial intelligence officer, supervising overall AI strategy and delivery functions, including relevant data engineering and enablement. Dollar General announced the establishment of a newly created AI officer role in November. With the move, Nixon will continue to head up business process management initiatives across the company while applying AI to identify and drive optimization opportunities across the retail value chain.
In its leadership update, Dollar General, stated,
- Zak Brining has transitioned to senior vice president, real estate, overseeing the company’s property operations team and guiding strategies that support enterprise growth and long-term store portfolio needs.
- Tom Hutchins has transitioned to senior vice president, chief technology officer, supervising strategic planning and business integration effort while also expanding oversight across key technology areas to strengthen enterprise alignment, performance and delivery.
- Nick Snow has transitioned to senior vice president, corporate store operations, responsible for developing and partnering on the strategic implementation, asset protection and store facilities management.
- Josh Allison was promoted to division vice president of store operations, responsible for more than 2,400 Dollar General stores across the upper Midwest and Northern Plains.
- Vai Anand was promoted to vice president, decision science and analytics, leading information and analytics strategies.
- Chelsea Beachy was promoted o vice president, field human resources to advance HR strategies in partnership with field operations.
- Michael Czubik was promoted to vice president, store operations with broadened responsibilities across support store, building on his expertise in workforce management and operational effectiveness to drive consistency, efficiency and improved experiences.
- Kevin Schoo was promotied to vice president, process improvement where he will direct the evaluation of key business processes and identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and profitability.
