Bed Bath & Beyond Sets ‘College Living’ Destination in Container Store Co-Brands, Online

Bed Bath & Beyond is launching its annual back-to-college promotional initiative, featuring deals on home furnishings and housewares to outfit everything from dorm rooms to first apartments.

As the cornerstone of the promotion, Bed Bath & Beyond has designed a dedicated ‘College Living’ destination to help students make the most of their living spaces, the company maintained. The back-to-school push will encompass the company’s 97 Bed Bath & Beyond + The Container Store locations and its e-commerce website. In addition, the company’s Kirkland’s by Bed Bath & Beyond stores will offer an edited version of the décor element. Bed Bath & Beyond has deals set on everything from bedding and storage to everyday essentials and décor items, not to mention food prep including small appliances, the company pointed out. Bed Bath & Beyond characterized the back-to-college assortment as uniting practical solutions, great value and trend-forward style in one easy-to-shop destination.

To properly outfit the cramped spaces that the ‘College Living’ destination is meant to maximize, Bed Bath & Beyond noted that it has arranged the featured assortment under four categories:

  • Small-Space Storage & Organization. Rolling carts, over-the-door organizers, underbed storage and slim hangers stocked to help students make the most of their space.
  • Everyday Essentials. A product range that supports independent living, including mini kitchen electrics, laundry solutions, towels, shower caddies and first aid supplies at $40 and under.
  • Bedding Essentials. An assortment of nighttime essentials, such as mattress toppers, comforters, sheet sets, pillows, and nail-free headboards, starting at $89.99.
  • Personal Touches. Accent seating, storage ottomans, throws, LED lighting, memo boards and décor students can tap to create an environment that feels uniquely theirs.

Students and parents can download a comprehensive move-in checklist.

“For a lot of us, college move-in is one of those moments you never forget,” said Amy Sullivan, Bed Bath & Beyond president.  “It’s exciting, a little stressful and usually comes with a very long shopping list. Bed Bath & Beyond helped generations of families through that moment, and we’re proud to do it again. We built this collection around real life. The things students actually need. The products parents don’t want to forget. The little touches that make a dorm or apartment feel like home. We focused on great product, great value and making the entire process easier because families already have enough to think about. College isn’t just about moving into a room. It’s about starting a new chapter. Our job is to make that transition easier, more affordable and a lot more exciting for students and the families supporting them.”
