Kuhn Rikon USA, the North American subsidiary of the Swiss kitchenware manufacturer, announced an agreement to distribute vacuum sealers by Solis, a Swiss maker of kitchen and household appliances.

Solis’ collection of vacuum sealers includes compact models for everyday home cooks and professional-grade systems:
- Solis Vac Premium: Designed for versatility, the model features dedicated settings for dry and moist foods, a manual pulse vacuum function for delicate ingredients, and customizable sealing options that help preserve everything from fresh berries to meats.
- Solis Vac Prestige: The model features dedicated settings for dry and moist foods, an integrated bag storage and cutter, pulse vacuum control for delicate ingredients and a built-in marinating function.
- Solis Vac Prestige Maxi: Built for serious home cooks and bulk food storage, the model combines extra-large capacity with advanced food preservation technology. Featuring an extra-strong triple-seal system, dedicated settings for dry, moist, and delicate foods, plus automatic touch-lock operation, it helps keep food fresh longer while protecting against leaks, freezer burn, and unnecessary food waste, according to the company.
- Solis Vac Stick: The compact, cordless model works with reusable vacuum bags and containers. Compatible with most Solis accessories and many third-party vacuum containers, it also preserves opened bottles of wine with optional stoppers.
The Solis vacuum sealer program now offered by Kuhn Rikon USA includes compatible vacuum bags, rolls and accessories.
