Following the June launch of her skincare collection, Skkn by Kim, Kim Kardashian is launching a line of monochromatic home accessories that will be sold on the Skkn by Kim website.
The home accessories line, which complements the packaging of the skincare products, includes a waste basket, a vanity tray, a tissue box, a canister and a round container. The collection also is sold as a 5-piece bundle. Made from hand-poured concrete, the neutral-toned line is designed to fill a space with tranquility and minimalist elegance, according to Skkn by Kim.
In a report on the new Skin by Kim home line in Architectural Digest, Kardashian said, “I think having the concrete material and monochromatic design are important for my mental wellness. I find that there is so much chaos out in the world that when I come home, the minimalist design creates a sense of quiet and calm. That’s why when I designed the Skkn by Kim home accessories collection, I wanted each piece to be artfully crafted from hand-poured concrete —every item has its own unique texture and stone effect with an ornate patina occurring over time, so no two pieces are exactly the same.”
She continued, “When designing the home accessory pieces, I wanted to marry art and functionality, and be able to reimagine any space into a serene oasis. I especially love how the Round Container and the Canister are perfect for storing cotton pads, Q-tips, or for any trinkets on countertops or around the home to keep it clutter-free.”
The home accessories collection launches October 6 on skknbykim.com. The Home Accessories 5-Piece Bundle will retail for $355, the Waste Basket for $129, the Vanity Tray for $65, the Tissue Box for $89, the Canister for $65 and the Round Container for $69.
