Cook’s Kettle has introduced its Signature Kettle at The Inspired Home Show, a cast-iron vessel inspired by traditional West African cookpots.
The Signature Kettle features a curvilinear exterior and continuously rounded surface cast in iron, reflecting the design of the traditional cooking vessel on which it is based.
Cook’s Kettle said the product is designed for a range of culinary uses, including roasting, steaming, deep frying and baking. The kettle is also patented in the United States for use as a popcorn maker.
The company plans to begin manufacturing the Signature Kettle in the United States in the spring, with recycled content incorporated into both the product and packaging.
Suggested retail price is $199, with availability expected by summer.
