SmartLabels is introducing an app-enabled labeling system designed to help consumers track items stored in bins and containers without opening them.
Using QR code technology, SmartLabels allow users to catalog stored items and locate them through a mobile app.
To use the system, consumers attach a SmartLabel to a container and scan the code using the app. Users can then enter a name and description, upload a photo of the contents and identify where the container will be stored.
Once the label is scanned again, the app displays the stored information, allowing users to see what is inside the container without opening it.
SmartLabels are offered in packs of four or 48 labels and were featured at The Inspired Home Show in Chicago.
The product is available now with a suggested retail price of $16.95.
