Williams-Sonoma Rolls Out Designer Barware Collection

Posted In: Retail Articles

Just when winter comforts are coming into demand again, Williams-Sonoma is introducing a new barware collaboration with Billy Reid, four-time winner of the CFDA award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Primarily known for making built-to-last clothing that celebrates craftsmanship, the Alabama-based designer worked with the Williams-Sonoma namesake banner to create a stylish collection of bar tools, glassware, cocktail napkins, linens, an oyster knife and an apron. The Billy Reid Collection for Williams Sonoma incorporates the designer’s signature “lived-in luxury” look, Williams-Sonoma noted, inclusive of thumbprints featured on glassware and pops of copper, wood and leather throughout the assortment. Classic style and modern aesthetics distinguish the handcrafted and mouth-blown glassware while the bar tools feature solutions to help craft cocktails, the company stated. A durable denim apron and stylish cotton twill napkins round out the collection, which, from a functional perspective, was made to satisfy anyone from the seasoned mixologist to the home cocktail connoisseur, Williams-Sonoma maintained.

Prices range from $96.95 for the Cocktail Shaker and Strainer Set to $14.94 for the Waiters Corkscrew.

“We love collaborating with designers that bring a unique point of view to our assortment,” said Williams Sonoma President, Felix Carbullido, in announcing the new product line. “Billy Reid’s passion for details and the quality of the construction of his clothing designs are truly reflected in the incredible products he has created for Williams Sonoma.”

Williams-Sonoma has rolled out a number of collaborative initiatives over the past few months. The most recent Reid collaboration comes on the heels of a partnership that Williams-Sonoma launched via its West Elm banner with interior designer Sarah Sherman Samuel for 33 holiday-inspired textiles and home decor items for kids, one that follows a collaboration that launched in Spring 2022. In addition, Williams-Sonoma recently launched a new online fine art gallery in a partnership between its Williams Sonoma Home operation and Los Angeles-based art curation brand, Tappan Collective.
