As its brick-and-mortar expansion continues, Wayfair plans to open a new large-format retail store in Cincinnati next year.
The Cincinnati brick-and-mortar store will stock a range of products available for immediate take-home purchase. Wayfair will provide quick delivery for larger pieces such as sofas, dining sets and outdoor furniture, according to the company.
The Cincinnati location will be Wayfair’s second store in Ohio, with the other located in Columbus. It will join Wayfair stores operating in Wilmette, IL, and Atlanta, GA, with additional stores planned for Denver, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Westchester, NY. Wayfair said the Cincinnati store reinforces the company’s commitment to expanding its omnichannel operation and meeting consumers wherever they choose to shop.
“Cincinnati is an exciting market for us, not only for its strong retail environment but also for its reach across the broader tri-state region,” said Liza Lefkowski, Wayfair vice president of merchandising and stores. “We’re looking forward to serving customers across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and helping them create homes they love.”
