The back-to-school and -college season has arrived at Target, and the company reported it is featuring more partnerships, design-led own brands and a seasonal assortment of which 50% is new across home, dorm, apparel, educational supplies and related categories.
Shoppers will find a back-to-school expansion of the LoveShackFancy x Target brand available beginning July 5 for a limited time, the company noted. Items in the collection retail for less than $55, with most items less than $25, and includes special extra finds featuring LoveShackFancy’s iconic prints from Yoobi, Wet Brush, Goody, Case-Mate and Wild.
The Hollister Collection at Target rolls out June 28 with apparel, accessories and, a first for Hollister, home products including dorm decor, with most items priced less than $50. Owala x Cat & Jack (pictured above) launches nationwide July 5 with backpacks, lunch bags, water bottles and accessories with many items priced between $3 and $25. Poppi x Target, already available, now including a limited-time, only-at-Target dorm collection that brings Poppi’s bright, playful aesthetic to robes, decorative pillows, throw blankets, Hydrojugs and mini fridges, with items starting at $20, Target stated.
As for own brands, Threshold is making its dorm debut with elevated decor, warm textures and on-trend designs, with most items priced less than $50. Then, Target is refreshing the Room Essentials dorm assortment with colorful bedding and decor. Dealworthy offers affordable school essentials with $5 backpacks, $3 lunch bags and $2 bento boxes and water bottles.
The back-to-school and -college push extends Target’s early season promotions that have been part of the company’s Circle Week sales event. As back-to-school and -college season shopping continues, target.com and the Target app will provide AI-powered recommendations for students and teachers that will help surface forgotten essentials and inspire stylish finds, the company maintained. Target added its back-to-school campaign, “Do Your Thing,” and back-to-college campaign, “Let’s Run to Target,” will showcase fresh style inspiration, new trends and ideas.
