Target Corp. is rolling out a new collection under its exclusive label, Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, while also previewing a “Back-to-School-idays” savings event to be held July 27 to August 2.

The new Hearth & Hand with Magnolia collection includes furniture, home decor, bed and bath products, as well as a substantial contingent of kitchen and dining merchandise. The collection features a variety of items with embellishments, including a Carved Edge Napkin Ring set of four at $9.99 and a set of eight Carved Edge Dinner Plates (pictured above) at $45.99. Cookware items include a mini half-quart Dutch oven in red for $16.99. Portable drinkware features a lineup of Heath & Hand Owala 24-ounce FreeSip insulated stainless steel bottles, available for $30 each. In addition, Target is showcasing a range of novel Health & Hand products such as a Portable Drink or Snack Holder on a stand with a small round top surface sized to support a single glass or small bowl and priced at $36.99.

For the return to classrooms, Target is planning in-store Back-to-School-idays initiatives and giveaways to make shopping fun and affordable, the company stated, as part of a savings event that will feature discounts of up to 30% on key school items such as select backpacks and kids’ apparel, and 20% off select Bentgo and Thermos lunch products.

Due to guest requests and the popularity of the initiative last year, Target announced that it will hold personalization station events in approximately 500 stores, double the number conducted in 2024. Shoppers will have the chance to customize school and dorm essentials from backpacks and lunchboxes to towels and pillows with embroidery, patches and other embellishments. In addition, Target will host 100 college-focused events in stores on July 26 and 400 events celebrating back-to-school style August 2-3.

In addition, Target stated that its summertime Back-to-School-idays plans include:

  • Exclusive giveaways including shoelace kits, school-themed patches and monogrammed bath wraps as well as tech demos in select stores.
  • Participation in all state tax-free weekends with additional savings where applicable.
  • A one-time 20% off storewide discount with Target Circle membership for verified college students through September 27.
  • A one-time 20% off storewide discount with Target Circle membership for verified teachers through August 30.

“Getting ready for a new school year should be an exciting time for families,” said Rick Gomez, Target executive vice president and chief commercial officer. “That’s why I’m proud of the way the Target team has leaned in to create an experience that’s fun, stylish and affordable. With great deals on essentials, fun personalization events in hundreds of stores and even more savings for Target Circle members, we’re ready to help families everywhere get the new school year off to a great start.”
