As it enters the holiday selling season, Target is working to drum up excitement for its upcoming Circle Deal Days sales by cutting prices on 2,000 apparel and home items.
The retailer is also promoting the October 6-7 event on its website homepage, with featured discounts in categories including home décor, storage, hair care and floor care.
Target noted that the latest reductions follow more than 10,000 price cuts over the past year as the retailer works to make it easier for families to afford the things that matter to them.
Among the 2,000 new price cuts, the company is spotlighting featured private label items, including Threshold queen comforters, now $69, down from $89, and Room Essentials queen comforters, now $40, down from $50.
Target said prices across its refreshed bedding assortment are, on average 15% lower. The latest price rollbacks don’t apply in Hawaii and Alaska.
On its website, the current Circle Deal Days page includes illustrated category flags that don’t currently click through to products but tout discounts that will be available during the event, including 30% off select Hearth & Hand items, including home décor, 30% off select hair care products and tools, including hair dryers, and up to 40% off storage and organization products.
“Guests are looking for great products at an incredible value, and that’s an important part of what we aim to deliver every day,” said Cara Sylvester, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Target. “By continuing to lower prices across our assortment, we’re making it even easier for busy families to create moments of joy this fall with the style, design and exceptional value they can only find at Target.”
