QVC Ties in with TikTok Shop Super Brand Day To Celebrate ‘Age of Possibility’

As part of its outreach to women, QVC is kicking off the second year of its Age of Possibility initiative on May 14 with a first-time cross-category link with TikTok Shop Super Brand Day.

The collaboration with the social media platform follows QVC Group’s launch of a 24/7 live social shopping experience with TikTok Shop. The event marks another first as QVC brings a dedicated day of creator- and celebrity-led shopping to consumers, one rooted in celebration, empowerment and connection.

On Wednesday, May 14, at 1 p.m. Eastern time, QVC and TikTok will bring together new and returning Q50 ambassadors, including influencers and celebrities, TikTok creators and brand partners for a live shopping event in Santa Monica, CA. The day’s content intends to put women at the center of a modern retail experience built just for them, QVC maintained. Newly joining the Q50, which the company characterizes as a collective of inspiring women who show that life only improves with age, are Hoda Kotb, Carla Rockmore and Kathy Hilton. Returning ambassadors include Kathie Lee Gifford, Stacy London, and Barbara “Babs” Costello.

The event will feature inspiring speakers and an immersive on-site experience, a red-carpet entrance, and appearances by Q50 ambassadors, QVC hosts, partners and friends, the company stated. Although QVC streams live on TikTok Shop around the clock, the dedicated Santa Monica live stream offers a specifically programmed eight-hour experience. Viewers can check out new product releases and can take advantage of event-only deals across curated QVC collections of home, kitchen, beauty, and apparel merchandise, all exclusively available on QVC’s TikTok Shop.

“The Age of Possibility is not a mission for just one group; it’s a universal feeling,” said Annette Dunleavy, vice president of brand marketing at QVC Group and a Q50 Ambassador. “As many modern women turn to social media, like TikTok, for inspiration and connection, we are meeting them where they are with what they need, showing that style, relevance and transformation is ageless.”
