Crate & Barrel has launched a collaboration with designer Tiffany Howell and actor Laura Harrier on an 87-piece collection that ranges across categories, including furniture, lighting, textiles, and decor, as well as drinkware, barware, and serveware.
Designed to balance elegance and surprise, the collection offers products that can enrich home spaces glamorously, Crate & Barrel reported.
Friends Howell (pictured above right) and Harrier (above left) have become creative partners. Howell, founder of design studio Night Palm, and Harrier, known for a variety of roles including as Liz Allan in the film “Spiderman: Homecoming,” have infused the collection with an affinity for vintage cinema and iconic fashion. Grounded in a 1970s-inspired palette of tobacco, copper and cream, the Howell x Harrier collection can bring a sense of luxury to everyday rituals, the company asserted.
“With Tiffany and Laura, we set out to create a world that is a reflection of their iconic style and spirit, where the glamour of vintage fashion and cinema is reimagined through a modern lens,” said Sebastian Brauer, Crate & Barrel senior vice president of product design. “The collection plays with contrasts: polish and softness, structure and curve, nostalgia and newness. We used a luxe material palette of burl wood, lacquer, velvets, grasscloth and mouth-blown glass as the foundation for timeless pieces that make a statement, but live with ease.”
