Bloomingdale’s plans to cheer residents of and visitors to its hometown of New York City with the return of the retailer’s iconic holiday unveiling event on November 18, featuring a special performance from Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha and tie-ins with Klarna, Nespresso and Coravin.

The event will take place at Bloomingdale’s 59 Street flagship store and is open to the public, who can attend by registering at bloomingdalesholidaywindowunveil2021.eventbrite.com. It includes festivities presented by payment service provider, Klarna, including the reveal of Bloomingdale’s holiday window displays; performances throughout the store from the Broadway Sinfonietta and Broadway Inspirational Voices Choir; and the launch of holiday activations and experiences. The event will also kick off a series of season-long initiatives at Bloomingdale’s 59 Street bringing to life its “Give Happy” holiday campaign, the company noted, including a reimagined Santaland, a designer holiday table auction benefiting Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDs and food and beverage pop-ups.

Curated by Italian chef, restaurateur and television personality Giada De Laurentiis, The Carousel Happy Together Again Nespresso Pop-up operates on weekends and select dates from November 6 to December 23, taking the form of a quaint Italian café offering complimentary beverages.

The Coravin Wine & Bubbles Bar, operating on select dates from November 4 to December 31, debuts as the brand’s first retail pop-up wine bar in the U.S. It will showcase wine and champagne preservation systems and offer a rotating selection of wine and bubbles flights with bites by Forty Carrots.

Other attractions that will help Bloomingdale’s finish up a busy year include the Ralph Lauren Ski Chalet, the Give Happy Food Truck and virtual cooking and beauty presentations.

“Every year, we look forward to our holiday unveiling event as a gift to our customers and the city of New York, and, this year, we are even more excited to come back together and celebrate,” said Frank Berman, Bloomingdale’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer. “And, with the launch of our many exciting experiences in-store and online, there is so much for our customers to discover all season long.”
