As it launches its new small-store concept, Bloomingdale’s is relaunching its Bloomie’s brand at the new store, at its flagship location on 59th Street in New York City and online.

The store, also named Bloomie’s, is operating in Fairfax, VA, featuring a curated assortment of top contemporary and luxury brands as well as convenient services, tech-enabled stylists, and a Colada Shop restaurant, according to parent company Macy’s.

The 22,000 square-foot Bloomie’s store is located in Fairfax’s Mosaic District, a hub for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Macy’s has described Bloomie’s as approaching the Bloomingdale’s aesthetic in a fresh and unexpected way with new design concepts driving customer discovery. The store highlights rotating trends and provides venues for activations. It features unique carts throughout the store, showcasing fresh finds for every visit.

“We are thrilled to introduce the world to Bloomie’s,” said Tony Spring, CEO, Bloomingdale’s, in announcing the store and brand initiatives. ”Bloomie’s is designed to be a more convenient and casual concept that fits into our customer’s everyday lifestyle. And, with our staff of stylists, omni services, lively restaurant and elevated assortment, Bloomie’s can be their favorite neighborhood store.”
