BJ’s Wholesale Club has appointed former Sam’s Club leader Stephanie Reibling executive vice president and chief merchandising officer.
In leading the company merchandising organization, Reibling will play a major role in driving BJ’s merchandising transformation while delivering continued growth across categories, the retailer reported. She most recently served as senior vice president and general merchandise manager at Walmart’s Sam’s Club division, where she oversaw presentation of categories ranging from home and hardlines to toys, apparel and seasonal.
Paul Cichocki, BJ’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, said Reibling’s “experience in retail and merchandising will be invaluable as we evolve our assortment, build BJ’s own brands and advance our omnichannel capabilities.”
