Best Buy’s Extended Holiday Promotional Season Starts With Halloween

Posted In: Retail Articles

Best Buy is putting Halloween into its 2025 holiday promotional calendar as it launches a selling season featuring weekly doorbusters and multiple sales events while looking to provide inspiration and unique shopping experiences.

Throughout the holidays, Best Buy shoppers will discover immersive in-store presentations and demos that will include a Meta Ray-Ban Display,  XXL TVs and Shark, Ninja, Dyson and Breville products, Best Buy indicated. Then, the company reported its recently announced Ikea store-in-store shops will be running in time for the holidays at select stores to demonstrate how tech and design can come together.

Best Buy Halloween promotions, which the company calls DoorBOOsters, include a series of deals leading into Black Friday, including those focused on hosting and gifting inspiration. The company said it is providing more hours to shop in store and a price-match guarantee.

The first set of DoorBOOsters rolls out October 31. Thereafter, Best Buy will debut doorbuster deals on designated products every Friday of the holiday season. Shoppers will find deals on the Best Buy app, on bestbuy.com and in stores. Members of the My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total loyalty programs get up to $25 in bonus rewards on select doorbuster events during holiday season, the company noted.

Best Buy’s main Black Friday sales event will stretch across the week before the main occasion. On Thursday, November 20, shoppers will find deeper savings across categories from home theater to wearables, Best Buy noted.

Cyber Monday will feature deals of up to 50% off select merchandise. The event also is lengthened with Best Buy planning a Cyber Sunday and Cyber Monday Sale beginning November 30 spotlighting limited-time deals available throughout.

With its marketplace operation up and running, Best Buy will offer 10 times as many products this year as last, including entirely new brands and categories, the company emphasized.

“We decided to expand the definition of ‘holiday’ and start the fun on Halloween this year,” said Jason Bonfig, Best Buy chief customer, product and fulfillment officer.  “Whether you want to shop in your costume or wait until Black Friday, we’ll be here all season long with the best gifts, unbelievable deals and endless ways to discover the coolest products.”
