When it comes to deals, according to Best Buy, shoppers can count on new doorbusters dropping every week through the holiday season, as well as major savings events through December and added rewards for My Best Buy Plus and Total members.

As for scheduled promotional events, Best Buy noted:

  • Early Black Friday Deals and Doorbusters. The holiday bargains pick up again on November 6 when consumers getting out ahead of their holiday shopping can check out a new lineup of discounts, with fresh price cuts dropping every Friday.
  • Black Friday Doorbusters and Deals. From November 19, Best Buy will offer 10 days of discounts and deals as the peak holiday shopping season gets underway.

  • Last-Minute Savings. With a December 18 start and a carry-through up to December 24, the final pre-Christmas savings event gives last-minute shoppers a chance to grab quality gifts at sharp prices.

In addition, the company maintained, participants in the Best Buy Plus and Total member programs earn double rewards on purchases. Members also get exclusive offers throughout the season, including spend and get promotions, reward offers and more perks from November 19 to December 6.

In the company’s second-quarter conference call, Jason Bonfig, chief customer, product and fulfillment officer, and incoming CEO, indicated a solid back-to-school season suggests Best Buy can expect a good holiday season and is positioned to address opportunities as they arise.

In announcing the holiday promotional initiatives, Patrick McGinnis, Best Buy chief revenue officer, said, “Everyone does their holiday shopping a little differently. Some start in October and are done by Thanksgiving, and some don’t start until the last minute. “There are incredible gifts to give this year, so we wanted to make sure everyone has the right opportunities to find, choose, get and give the perfect gift, no matter their schedule.”
