Capital Brands, the marketer of Nutribullet and Magic Bullet small appliances, has appointed housewares veteran Steve Baram CEO.
Baram takes the helm of Capital Brands, owned by De’Longhi Group, following Jodi Allen’s recent departure.
Baram brings nearly 30 years of consumer products experience, including several CEO roles at private equity-backed companies. Most recently, he served as CEO of tableware company Lenox; before that, he was executive vice president at information risk management and compliance specialist Hitrust. Baram previously served as president of the Fitz & Floyd tabletop business before and after its 2017 acquisition by Lifetime Brands.
Baram leads Capital Brands from its Los Angeles headquarters and reports to Nicola Serafin, group general manager of De’Longhi.
“Steve has spent his career building consumer brands and leading teams through high-growth phases,” Serafin said. “His deep experience, combined with his strategic focus on retail partnerships and product innovation, makes him the right leader to guide Capital Brands into the next chapter, accelerating the success of Nutribullet and Magic Bullet worldwide.”
“Nutribullet and Magic Bullet have a clear purpose, which is making healthy living easier for everyone, Baram said. “I’m excited to join a talented team and to work with our retail partners and the De’Longhi Group to bring that to more people.”
