Coffee machine company Casabrews reported it is making its first major move into mass retail, launching at Target on September 28, 2025, in more than 1,000 stores nationwide.
The launch marks a milestone for the brand as it transitions from a digitally native story into broader brick-and-mortar distribution. The Target launch centers on a single SKU, the CM5418 espresso machine, which the company said is already an Amazon best seller.
The stainless steel CM5418 is designed to bring café-level performance into the kitchen. “It has become a fan-favorite amongst consumers as well as professional coffee machine testers,” said Max Wang, president of Casabrews. “Its professional-grade features and accessible price point have made it one of our top performers, and we’re excited to bring it to Target shoppers. We feel it is the perfect fit.”
While there are no exclusive offerings tied to the initial Target launch, Casabrews is actively exploring opportunities to introduce exclusive bundles or unique colorways in future releases to ensure more value and variety for its customers.
In-store, the CM5418 will be merchandised in the small appliance aisle. While there are no branded shelf fixtures, the nationwide placement will provide strong visibility, Wang noted. Online, the company is transitioning from Target Plus (3P) to a 1P vendor model, which will allow the Casabrews products to be fully integrated into Target.com and the Target app with enriched content, lifestyle imagery and how-to videos. “We believe this will help with education and brand loyalty; it will both start and continue our connection to the Target/Casabrews consumer,” Wang said.
Casabrews reported it is exploring opportunities to expand into additional U.S. retailers in 2026. The approach is to tailor product assortments to fit each retailer’s customer base, ensuring differentiation and avoiding overlap, Wang stated. The long-term strategy is to build channel-specific programs that highlight the right products in the right places, he added.
While the CM5418 is the current focus, Casabrews sees opportunities to expand its retail distribution with additional espresso machine models, grinders and accessories. “Our vision is to build Casabrews into a comprehensive coffee-at-home brand that meets the growing demand for café-quality experiences in everyday kitchens, while making high-quality machines accessible at a fair price,” Wang said. “This is a really exciting partnership for us and we are looking forward to a long-term relationship with Target.”
