Brod & Taylor is preparing for The Inspired Home Show with the rollout of new bread proofing baskets and a compact countertop dough sheeter, expanding its portfolio of tools designed to deliver consistent results for home bakers at multiple skill levels.
Bannetons – Boule and Batard
With its new bannetons (pictured above), Brod & Taylor stated that it is reimagining the classic bread proofing basket for modern bakers.
Available in boule (round) and batard (elongated oval) shapes, each banneton features ridges that support the dough’s structure for consistently well-formed loaves. A textured surface absorbs moisture for easy release and yields a crisp, golden crust. Made from upcycled sugarcane pulp and renewable bamboo, the Brod & Taylor bannetons are lightweight yet durable and nest for storage space savings.
The bannetons are available now at a suggested retail price of $15.95 per unit.

Brod & Taylor designed the Countertop Dough Sheeter to help bakers get better results. It provides smooth, even sheeting to countertops, helping bakers achieve cleaner lamination, more consistent results and faster prep without sacrificing valuable space, the company maintained. The compact manual design provides direct control with quick adjustments and a generous thickness range of up to 26 millimeters (approximately 1 inch), covering everything from delicate pastry sheets to heartier doughs. The rigid, flex-resistant sheeting board is made in the U.S.A. from layered aluminum and durable plastic, Brod & Taylor related, and it stays reliably flat as bakers work. For easy storage and transport between uses, the product comes with a protective carrying case.
