Breville has launched the Oracle Dual Boiler, the next generation of its premium espresso machine range, designed to cater to coffee enthusiasts who seek convenience and control.

“Breville revolutionized home espresso with the original Oracle in 2014, and with the launch of the Oracle Dual Boiler, we’re excited to take that next step in espresso innovation,” said Con Psarologos, portfolio general manager of coffee for Breville. “Combining the best elements of our past model with new features, the Oracle Dual Boiler is our most advanced machine yet – offering home baristas the perfect blend of precision, control and convenience.”

The Oracle Dual Boiler offers the ability to switch between auto and manual modes so users can enjoy an automated workflow or hands-on espresso crafting, said the company.

In auto mode, coffee is made in three steps: grind, brew and milk. In manual mode, the machine allows users greater customization of pre-infusion, blooming, brewing and milk texturing.

The Oracle Dual Boiler features a 5.7-inch touchscreen, Breville’s largest to date, and is designed to offer an immersive and intuitive experience with animation and real-time feedback. The machine is also Breville’s most connected espresso machine yet, featuring Wi-Fi capabilities for software updates and future feature enhancements. Through the Breville+ coffee app, users can remotely power on and reheat the machine.

It features 15 preset beverages, the largest number of recipes in a Breville machine, including espresso, flat white, latte, cappuccino, piccolo and mocha. It also allows for iced lattes, shakeratos and an espresso martini.

Features include:

  • A triple heating system, including a PID-controlled extraction boiler and a dedicated steam boiler, allows users to extract espresso and texture milk simultaneously.
  • An Auto Dial-In system, monitoring each extraction to make grind size adjustments automatically, taking the guesswork out of finding the correct grind size.
  • The Baratza European precision burrs provide 45 grind settings for consistency and customization at every stage.
  • The Auto MilQ steam wand creates microfoam with increased steam power and alternative milk settings for oat, almond, soy and dairy.

Additional features include an updated lighting system, a stainless-steel heated cup tray, a seamless glide wheel for effortless movement, a more streamlined descaling process and motorized valves for automating the maintenance process.

The Oracle Dual Boiler retails for $2,999.95 and is available through Breville.com and participating retail partners.
