Independent Retail Advocate Creating Specialty ‘Storefronts’ at Summer Dallas Market

Dallas Market Center and Heart on Main Street, a non-profit organization supporting independent retailers, have formed an exclusive partnership starting during the upcoming summer Total Home & Gift Market to celebrate and support independent retail through a series of interactive visual displays.

Heart on Main Street launched in 2022 to provide knowledge, resources and connections to independent retailers to help them evolve and thrive.

The next Total Home & Gift Market is set for June 19-25 at Dallas Market Center. Market attendees will find the atrium of the World Trade Center transformed into a “Main Street” experience showcasing four artistically rendered retail storefronts. The storefront displays will represent a florist, a gift store, a women’s boutique and a home décor store, each display stocked with merchandise from Dallas Market Center exhibitors.

“Heart on Main Street spreads a message about the importance of small businesses in our communities,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Dallas Market Center prides ourselves on being a family-owned business supporting independent retail, and we are grateful for the opportunity to promote shopping local and to help provide resources for small businesses.

Patrick Keiser, Executive Director of Heart on Main Street, added, “This collaboration is a great opportunity to create a Main Street experience that amplifies our mission of support for independent retail. We are thrilled to partner with a company whose values aligned with ours.”
