Walmart said it is posting its lowest back-to-school prices since 2019 on the most popular school supplies, affordable solutions for every stage of the scholastic journey and healthy meals to fill lunchboxes as the company also touts delivery and pickup conveniences.
Walmart also reported it has prepared 1,300 more Rollbacks for the BTS season versus the timeframe in 2025 to help shoppers stay on trend and budget.
Beyond everyday considerations, Walmart is featuring on-trend school supplies and accessories that let students personalize everything from backpacks to binders, the company noted.
Walmart has assembled off-to-college promotions, among them a new value basket dubbed the “College Grocery Haul.” It includes stock-up essentials under $35, along with on-trend décor, organization solutions, technology and everyday necessities designed for campus life. New and enhanced digital functions such as a “College Wishlist,” “Dynamic Showroom” and “Be Your Own Model” make it easier to plan, personalize and shop with confidence, Walmart asserted.
As the BTS season proceeds, Walmart is highlighting its collegiate loyalty program. Walmart+ Student offers a full membership for $49 a year, about half off the normal price, which includes free delivery on orders over $35, 10 cents off per gallon at participating gas stations and a choice of a Peacock Premium or Paramount+ Essential subscription.
Walmart is making trend-forward fashion, beauty and accessories accessible for every budget, the company stated. In addition, it has whipped up a back-to-school lunch basket featuring a selection of nutritious edible options while maintaining an average cost of less than $2 per lunch. For after-school cooking, Walmart has loaded one-click meals into a Recipe Hub and can deliver ingredients as little as 30 minutes.
To help teachers start the year feeling appreciated, Walmart is providing a curated assortment of new and trending teacher gifts starting as low as $2.48.
