Stanley Helps Target’s Halloween New Housewares Push

Target has big Halloween plans, and the retailer is kicking off what it describes as a new product-intensive seasonal push by introducing a dedicated Stanley 1913 collection.

Target’s Stanley 1913 Halloween introduction includes stainless steel tumblers in come two-toned colorations and black, each of which has a pattern mixing stars, moons and bats. Target priced the tumblers at $50 for a 40-ounce size and $40 for a 20-ounce size.

To complement the tumblers, Target is offering CharCharm 40- and 20-ounce water bottle straws, as well as straw toppers in cat, ghost and other Halloween-appropriate designs and water bottle boots.

In Target’s second-quarter conference call, Rick Gomez, Target, chief commercial officer, said the company is gearing up for Halloween and the holidays beyond. He said one-third of this year’s Halloween candy and about 75% of the home assortment is new. Gomez added that Target is planning cautiously for 2025’s back half given continued economic uncertainty and volatility. He noted the company will lean into what consumers want, including ways to amplify and celebrate the year-end holidays affordably without sacrificing style or quality.
