Saks is launching a wellness shop on its website and promoting the January 11 introduction with five events on Saks Live running through January 18. examining the state of major home and housewares retailers entering the back half of 2021.
Saks designed the Wellness Shop as a dedicated virtual location accessible through the women’s and men’s top navigation on its website. The shop, Saks noted, is built on four key pillars: fitness, health & nutrition, rest & relaxation, and sexual wellness.
Saks stated that it will emphasize a holistic approach to wellbeing, with an increased product selection and more than 100 brands, 50 of which are new to Saks.
Within its four pillars, Saks is including a wide range of products from recovery items and supplements to kitchen tools, aromatherapy and fitness apparel. In addition, Saks stated that it would tie in newly curated golf and ski shops focused on men’s and women’s apparel.
The four Saks Wellness Shop pillars:
- Fitness. An expanded range of men’s and women’s athletic apparel, shoes and accessories as well as new items include recovery/message devices from Hyperice, smart jump ropes from Tangram and apparel from Rhone, Beyond Yoga, Fourlaps and SoulCycle.
- Health & Nutrition. Kitchen tech including Smeg and Vitamix blenders, vitamins and supplements, protein powders, and tools and cookbooks.
- Rest & Relaxation. Sleep products such as Hatch white noise machines, aromatherapy including Nest candles, environmental products such as the Objecto H Hybrid H3 Humidifier, Surell weighted blankets, Vyrao therapeutic fragrances, mindfulness products and sleep supplements from Hush & Hush.
- Sexual Wellness. Personal care and technology items from Lelo, feminine care from Dr. Barbara Sturm, intimate products from Maude and menopause therapy devices from Joylux.
