Pottery Barn Debuts ‘Dorm Concierge’ To Support Pick-Up Orders Near College Campuses

Williams-Sonoma’s Pottery Barn Teen banner is introducing a new feature in time for the back-to-school season: the Dorm Concierge.

The free personalized service helps dorm product shoppers use Pottery Barn Teen’s Pick Up Near Campus function, building on a design service, mobile app, bedding visualizer tool and a wishlist feature already launched. Dorm Concierge users get a dedicated customer service representative after they access Pick Up Near Campus when placing an order. At that point, a Dorm Concierge representative will reach out via email to provide personalized updates, coordinate logistics and take care of any last-minute adjustments to the order.

The Pottery Barn Teen Pick Up Near Campus feature gives customers the chance to order in advance and pick up their items conveniently near a school or campus at any of the more than 450 participating Williams-Sonoma retail locations, whether Pottery Barn, West Elm, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn Kids or Pottery Barn Teen. When they select a college or university during the checkout process, all eligible nearby locations will automatically populate so that customers can choose a preferred store for pickup. The selected store can hold items for up to 30 days after a designated pick-up date.
