Food and beverage container manufacturer, PMI Worldwide, has appointed Barbara Smith vp, supply chain operations.

In her new role, Smith will lead all aspects of PMI’s supply chain operations in the North America and EMEA regions, including sales, demand and supply planning, sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics.

“Barbara brings over 30 years experience in quality assurance and supply chain operations to our team,” said Brent Denniston, Chief Supply Chain Officer. “Notably, she spent three decades in relevant leadership positions at Procter & Gamble, ultimately overseeing supply network operations, manufacturing operations, quality assurance, and quality control governance for $11.5 billion in sales. This included the largest production facilities for the Tide, Downy, Bounce, Febreeze, Mr. Clean, and Cascade brands.”

“I’m thrilled to join an organization with such a robust history and commitment to its employees, community, and the environment,” said Smith, “I look forward to new opportunities and challenges as we expand our supply chain operations across the USA, EMEA, and around the world.”
