In looking ahead to the upcoming year, HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams is introducing its 2024 Color Collection of the Year, Renewed Comfort, and the 2024 Color of the Year, Persimmon, with associated products available at Lowe’s Cos.

Available at Lowe’s stores across the United States and on Lowes.com, the designer-inspired Color Collection of the Year includes 10 paint shades and the retailer offers showcases of the looks in room settings with home furnishings and housewares to demonstrate how they fit together.

In a joint announcement, Lowe’s, Sherwin-Williams and HGTV described the collection as gentle, bright shades that take a new twist on traditional color combinations. HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams color marketing manager Ashley Banbury developed the Renewed Comfort Color Collection to suggest tranquility, comfort and rejuvenation. As such, it indicates the year ahead is one when color will take a turn toward making homes inviting and cozy havens. Persimmon, with terracotta and tangerine tones, became the color of the year because it can bring a sense of comfort into the home with a natural sensibility developed to soften spaces. Overall, the collection, by design is gratifying and soft with a balance of vibrancy, the announcement maintained. Other colors in the collection are deep red Dark Auburn; crisp, beige Pearly White; deep gray Cyberspace; golden undertoned Softer Tan; airy, warm Friendly Yellow; sleek brown Utaupeia; cool pastel blue Stardew; cool mossy green Oakmoss and deep blue Waterloo.

“The Renewed Comfort Color Collection is restful and restorative with an expressive touch to showcase unique personal style, bringing a sense of comfort into the home with a new, refreshed outlook,” Banbury says. “The shades in our 2024 Color Collection of the Year feel familiar and dependable, yet versatile, with the ability to be reshuffled to create a custom look for your home.”
