Lowe’s has launched the Mylow Companion, an AI tool designed to help store employees enhance the retailer’s customer experience.
As the company evolves with the changing marketplace, Lowe’s said associate expertise is uniquely valuable for home improvement retailers, whose employees assist shoppers who are engaged in a variety of complex projects and, so, have to help connect consumers to appropriate products among the thousands the company offers. Mylow Companion uses generative AI to give employees more information for serving customers. Whether they’re new to Lowe’s, working in an area of expertise or providing aid outside their designated departments, Mylow Companion enables employees to assist customers with more confidence, the company reported.
Mylow Companion is built on the same foundation as the recently introduced Mylow, Lowe’s customer-facing virtual advisor.
“Mylow Companion is another example of Lowe’s living out its commitment to elevate the customer and associate experience,” said Seemantini Godbole, the company’s chief digital and information office. “Whether associates have been on the job for five weeks or five years, they can be confident they’re delivering expert-level advice and assistance, and customers can trust they’re getting the best service and experience of any retailer.”
