As autumn approaches, JCPenney is promoting dorm, beauty and apparel collections that emphasize fashion and style.
JCPenney’s stated goal is to redesign the season with colorful products and deals across multiple product categories.
The company has dubbed an initiative aimed at students, Dorm Goals Unlocked, although the company noted that it’s aimed at both on-campus residents and first-apartment lessees. The offerings include Fruit of the Loom bedding, a plushy beet-shaped pillow and stylish merchandise from JCPenney’s own Home Expressions brand. On its website, JCPenney includes an Unexpected Dorm Finds designation with products ranging from a Sharper Image Mini Automatic Touch Activated Candy and Snack Dispenser and a Cheungs Lined Metal Wire Laundry Basket to a Martha Stewart Gold Small Desktop Organizer (pictured above) and a Nostalgia 20-ounce Portable Heated Lunch Box, all at 25% or more off.
Beauty picks include items such as Kenzo and Leo Messi Eau De Parfum as well as cult-favorite brands like Bare Minerals, Smashbox, and Olaplex, JCPenney noted. As part of the ongoing Semi-Annual Beauty sale running concurrent with the off-to-college season, deals include a CHI Lava Ceramic Hairstyling 1-inch Flat Iron for $173 down from $192.23.
In apparel, the company showcases brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma and Champion, as well as its own JS Jessica Simpson label, even as Aeropostale, Volcom and Hurley make JCPenney debuts.
