Artisan homewares brand MacKenzie-Childs and country music star Lainey Wilson have unveiled a multi-season collaboration that begins with the debut of the exclusive, limited-edition “Made in Aurora” collection.
The collection features pieces handcrafted and hand-painted by MacKenzie-Childs artisans in the company’s Aurora, NY headquarters and studio. Inspired by one of the most recognizable symbols in Lainey Wilson’s world, a cowgirl boot, the collection is a MacKenzie-Childs reimagination of a classic western silhouette, the company said.
To launch the collection, MacKenzie-Childs will roll out a Ceramic Cowgirl Boot Bud Vase and Cowgirl Boot Dish, each priced at $149.95, on Monday, September 21 on the company’s website, in its Aurora, NY, and New York City retail stores and at Dillard’s, Amazon and select independent boutiques across the United States. The vase and dish launch in three MacKenzie-Childs check colorways: Courtly Check, Mocha Check and Rosy Check.
“Lainey Wilson (pictured above) brings an unmistakable sense of authenticity, creativity, and joy to everything she does,” John Ling, MacKenzie-Childs CEO. “What makes this collaboration especially meaningful is that it grew from Lainey’s genuine love for our brand. After seeing MacKenzie-Childs already woven into the home she so proudly shared with the world, this partnership felt like a natural extension of our shared appreciation for craftsmanship, individuality and storytelling. Together, we’ve created pieces that honor Lainey’s signature western spirit while celebrating the artistry that has defined MacKenzie-Childs for more than 30 years.”
