Steelport Knife Co., known for its American-forged cutlery, has launched the SteelCore Cutting Board with steel-reinforced dual-sided functionality.
One side of the SteelCore cutting board is made from premium, ultra-thin walnut edge-grain designed to be elegant and to preserve blade sharpness while providing a long-lasting, self-healing surface that resists deep cuts. The other side is made from a durable recycled paper composite surface with a drip groove channel made for easy, sanitary clean-up. The composite side is ideal for prepping raw and cooked meats and strong-flavored ingredients. The two-sided design of the cutting board is achieved and strengthened by a patent-pending embedded steel core, the company noted.
Steelport reported it engineered the cutting board to meet the evolving needs of today’s home cooks with its thin (0.75inch) design that is easy to flip, clean and store without sacrificing durability.
