SharkNinja has launched the Shark PowerDetect Speed Clean & Empty System, a lighter, more agile addition to its PowerDetect line.
The PowerDetect Speed is designed to deliver deep, edge-to-edge debris pickup in a 7-pound cordless format. It features real-time detection technology and a hands-free Auto-Empty Dock (AED) that enables up to 45 days of empty-free cleaning.
The vacuum incorporates the company’s MultiFlex Technology, allowing the stick to bend for easier reach under furniture and into tight spaces. The TurboPro Detect Brushroll is designed to provide deeper agitation and precision debris pickup across floor types, while the Self-Cleaning Brushroll helps prevent hair wrap. The system offers up to 60 minutes of runtime and automatically empties into the dock after each use.
At the core of the PowerDetect Speed is PowerDetect Intelligence, the company said, describing a system of integrated detection technologies that automatically adjust performance based on cleaning conditions.
These include Dirt Detect, which identifies high-traffic areas and boosts suction; Edge Detect, which increases power along walls and corners; Floor Detect, which adjusts brushroll speed across surfaces; Direction Detect, which captures debris in forward and reverse passes; and Reveal Technology, which uses angled light to expose dust and debris on hard floors.
