Regal Holdings, formerly Regal Ware, announced two company name changes positioned to reflect the company’s evolution into a multi-business portfolio developing, manufacturing and marketing cookware and related kitchen products.
In addition to the new Regal Holdings corporate identity, the West Bend, WI-based holding company’s manufacturing unit, previously doing business as SynergyOps, will return to the historic West Bend Company name.
Regal Holdings management said the new naming honors more than a century of cookware and kitchenware production heritage rooted in Wisconsin, while creating clearer alignment across the organization’s companies, brands and investments.
Founded in 1911, the West Bend Company is the manufacturing hub within Regal Holdings and a contract manufacturing partner to other brands and companies that market cookware and kitchen essentials.
As Regal Ware, the longstanding Wisconsin-based cookware and housewares producer and marketer acquired the West Bend Company in 2002. Regal Ware divested the West Bend-branded small appliance business (now part of The Legacy Companies) in 2003. Regal Holdings is not affiliated with housewares products marketed under the West Bend brand.
West Bend Company President Dave Duecker joined Regal Ware in 2023 to lead SynergyOps.
“West Bend Company is a name built on craftsmanship and responsibility,” said Dave Lenz, president of Regal Holdings. “Bringing this name forward again honors the generations of people who have built their careers here and reinforces our commitment to manufacturing excellence in Wisconsin. Whether we’re supporting our own brands or serving as a trusted manufacturing partner, our focus on quality, our people, and our long-term relationships remains unchanged.”
The transition from Regal Ware to Regal Holdings, according to corporate leadership, reflects the organization’s evolved structure as a platform providing strategic leadership, shared expertise and scalable systems to support a growing portfolio while preserving the focus and identities of each company and brand.
“Regal Holdings reflects who we are today and how we’re structured for the future,” said Ryan Reigle, chairman and CEO of Regal Holdings. “We are a family of companies and brands united by shared values, long-term thinking, and a commitment to quality. Announcing these updates together provides clarity in the market and reinforces the role each company and brand plays within our portfolio.”
Regal Holdings’ operating groups include the Regal Manufacturing Group (including West Bend Company), the Regal Wholesale Direct Group (including Saladmaster and Lifetime), the Regal Retail Group (including IKB) and the Regal Community Investments Group (including Regal Place, the Regal & West Bend Cookware Factory Outlet Store, the Reigle Family Foundation and Regal Archives).
The name changes will roll out during the coming months across facilities, signage, corporate materials and digital platforms, the company said. Leadership, headquarters and day-to-day operations remain unchanged.
