Pantone has introduced the Color of the Year 2024: Pantone 13-1023 Peach Fuzz, described as a “velvety gentle peach whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body and heart.”

The soft, warm shade speaks to the desire for togetherness and the feeling this creates; it brings a feeling of tenderness and communicates a message of caring and sharing, community and collaboration, according to Pantone.

“In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.

Among other collaborations, Pantone has partnered with Ruggable and Spoonflower. The Ruggable x Pantone is celebrating the Color of the Year with a set of three rugs, a door mat and a bath mat that are limited-edition and stain-resistant, designed to inspire cheerfulness, well-being and a pop of positivity so that anyone can create a space for creativity and expression. Additionally, three Spoonflower Independent Artists have unveiled new designs for print-on-demand wallpaper, fabric and home décor. The creativity continues in January with Spoonflower’s 2024 Pantone Color of the Year Design Challenge.
