Panasonic has launched the FlashXpress Indoor Pizza Oven Plus, a countertop oven designed to bring restaurant-style pizza-making to the home while supporting a wide range of cooking.
Home cooks can enjoy an upgraded pizza experience without investing in a dedicated pizza oven, the company said.
Expanding on Panasonic’s FlashXpress Toaster Oven lineup, the FlashXpress Indoor Pizza Oven Plus features several cooking modes: Pizza, Air Fry, Bake, Broil, Grill and Roast.
“Our FlashXpress lineup has long been known for bringing speed, precision and everyday convenience to the countertop and the FlashXpress Indoor Pizza Oven Plus builds on that legacy in an exciting new way,” said Hana Umemoto, product manager, small appliance, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company. “By combining powerful dual heating technology with dedicated pizza presets and versatile cooking modes, we’re giving families a smarter way to make restaurant-style pizza, weeknight dinners and everyday favorites all from one thoughtfully designed appliance.”
Dual heating elements, including an upper carbon infrared heater and a lower stainless-steel heater, work together to reach temperatures up to 755°F while promoting even heat distribution, the company said. It is designed to accommodate pizzas up to 12 inches in diameter, and it can make a variety of pizza styles, including Neapolitan, New-York style, thin crust, deep dish and frozen. Dedicated presets simplify cooking by automatically optimizing temperature and cooking performance for each style.
A high-speed convection fan enables faster air-fry preheating and crispier results for vegetables and proteins, Panasonic noted. Steak Mode, paired with the included cast iron grill pan, is designed for steakhouse-style searing indoors. The 20-liter interior can accommodate family-sized meals and features a PFAS-free enamel coating made to prevent food residue and grease from sticking for quick and easy cleanup.
The oven includes seven accessories: a pizza stone, a pizza peel, an air fry basket, a wire rack, a cast iron grill pan, grill pan handles and a removable crumb tray.
