Newell Brands announced the appointment of veteran consumer packaged goods leadership executive Guillermo Beade as COO, effective October 26, 2026.
Newell Brands owns brands including Rubbermaid, Oster, Mr. Coffee, Calphalon, Crock-Pot, FoodSaver, Yankee Candle, Coleman, Sharpie, and Graco.
Beade (pictured above) has primary responsibility for Newell’s global central marketing, sales, and supply chain functions, according to the company.
Beade has more than 30 years of leadership experience at SC Johnson, PepsiCo and Unilever across North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Most recently, he served as president of SC Johnson Consumer Brands North America. Before that, he served as CEO of SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands.
