Gibson’s New bloomhouse Brand Serves Up Artisan-Inspired Luxury


Gibson Homewares has launched bloomhouse, an upscale brand that will encompass a full range of kitchenware and tableware showcasing what the company describes as an artisan-inspired luxury design ethos underscored by a message of healthy living and environmental responsibility.

The initial offering by bloomhouse is a 12-piece stainless steel ceramic non-stick cookware set with ceramic steamer inserts. The cookware set is among the 2022 Oprah’s Favorite Things holiday gifts released earlier this week and featured on OprahDaily.com and in the Winter issue of O Quarterly. The bloomhouse stainless steel cookware set is available for purchase at a price point of $280 in the gift guide exclusively in Amazon’s store at amazon.com/oprah; at the bloomhouse store on Amazon.

Crafted from 18/8 stainless steel, each cookware piece in the bloomhouse stainless steel set encapsulates a heat-responsive aluminum core from the base to the rim to distribute heat and cook evenly, according to Gibson. The set promotes safer and health-conscious cooking with a non-toxic, ceramic non-stick interior, made without PTFE, PFOA, PFAS, lead or cadmium, Gibson added, noting the line’s ceramic non-stick interior is 10 times more durable than a standard ceramic non-stick coating.

In partnership with non-profit organization One Tree Planted, bloomhouse will plant a tree for every set sold around the world, according to the company.

“When we designed the bloomhouse stainless steel cookware set, I drew inspiration from Colombian sculptures that honor abundance and beauty from an artful perspective,” said Daniel Gabbay, bloomhouse founder and designer. “I set out to create a collection of products that are beautiful to look at, easy to use, healthy for your body and good for the Earth – a brand free of toxins yet full of life that celebrates our world, its people and their cultures.”

Safe to use on all stovetops, including induction surfaces, all stainless-steel pieces are oven safe to 500°F, and they are recommended to be cleaned by hand washing. The ceramic steamer inserts are dishwasher and oven-safe up to 350°F. The set comes with 12 protective care bags in which to store the pieces safely

Additional cookware colors by bloomhouse are slated to be introduced soon. The bloomhouse brand is set to encompass a wide range of kitchenware and dining products, including dinnerware, cookware and serveware, kitchen tools, gadgets and food storage. Additional categories are planned to be introduced in the coming year.
