Kitchen Aid has introduced its 2026 Design Series Luminaire Tilt-Head Stand Mixer.
In a follow-up to the Evergreen Design Series, the Luminaire model pairs an Artisan Plus stand mixer in what KitchenAid calls a “Blue Peppercorn” hue in a crinkle finish with a fluted, hardened glass bowl. The glass bowl is designed to capture and diffuse light from the stand mixer’s integrated bowl light, casting a radiant pattern across the countertop.
The KitchenAid Design Series Luminaire stand mixer, with a retail price of $699.99, comes with dishwasher-safe, stainless steel attachments, including a double-flex edge beater, a dough hook, a wire whip and a flat beater.
The Design Series aesthetic extends beyond stand mixers this year for the first time to major appliances with the KitchenAid Luminaire 36-Inch Commercial-Style Range in the “Blue Peppercorn” finish. The exclusive release of the hand-painted range is limited to five units and will be available for purchase on KitchenAid.com for $8,899.
“We’re seeing a broader design trend toward greater cohesion across the home, with both small and major appliances playing a role in complementing the colors, materials and finishes throughout a space,” said Brittni Pertijs, design manager, color, material and finish design at Whirlpool Corporation. “Luminaire brings that idea to life through the Design Series Stand Mixer, pairing the calming Blue Peppercorn hue with transparency and reflective details to evoke feelings of connection, nostalgia and joy.”
A line of KitchenAid Design Series Luminaire cookware in the “Blue Peppercorn” finish and with stainless steel knobs is set for release later this fall.
