IAI Smart Inc., a technology-focused company, has been developing a new line of smart home appliances under the Emerson brand, dubbed SmartVoice, which now includes an easy-to-use air fryer with numerous automated functions.
IAI designed the Emerson SmartVoice Air Fryer, a 5.3-quart 6-in-1 kitchen appliance, as a fully offline, voice-controlled model developed to make cooking as effortless as possible. Designed for privacy, simplicity and accessibility, the air fryer can handle a thousand voice commands. Advanced food voice recognition identifies more than 100 popular foods, including fries, chicken, salmon and brownies, and it automatically sets the optimal cooking time and temperature. Users can engage six voice cooking functions, including Air Fry, Bake, Dehydrate, Broil, Reheat and Keep Warm, or they can tap eight convenient touch presets for quick meals.
Users can choose cooking modes, adjust settings and start cooking instantly as they don’t need to access an app or Wi-Fi, or go through a setup process, IAI noted. All commands are handled locally, with no cloud storage, tracking or data collection involved.
The simplicity of offline voice control may be especially appreciated by seniors, visually impaired users, or anyone who prefers hands-free cooking.
