GreenPan, Actor Tucci Collaborate on New Premium Cookware for Williams Sonoma

GreenPan USA has launched a new, premium, ceramic nonstick cookware collection in collaboration with actor and author Stanley Tucci exclusively at Williams Sonoma.

The new Tucci by GreenPan cookware, designed in collaboration with Tucci and produced at GreenPan’s factory in Italy, blends refined architectural details with pioneering technology, according to GreenPan.

The new cookware is offered in reinforced, heavy-gauge aluminum with colored exteriors, as well as stainless steel. The colors —Venetian Teal, Carrara White, and Milano Black (drop ship only), all with Piazza Grey interiors — are inspired by Tucci’s home and personal style, and they are fashioned to be “livable and sophisticated, a balance of modern style and timeless charm,” according to GreenPan. Each color is offset with champagne handles finished in a PVD coating designed to be wear- and corrosion-resistant.

Tucci, an award-winning actor, won two Emmy Awards as host from 2021 to 2022 of the CNN food and travel documentary series Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy. Tucci also has written several books on his culinary interests.

Said Tucci about his new cookware collection, “With Italian cooking the rules are simple, buy the best ingredients, get the best flavor. I’ve built cookware with this simple idea in mind, using only the best materials right here in Italy. After all, it’s where I’ve always found inspiration. This collection is as functional as it is beautiful and helps make cooking even more enjoyable. It’s modern cookware made in Italy.”

The premium design of the Tucci by GreenPan collection reflects a focus on uncomplicated style, authentic simplicity and the blend of classic and modern sensibilities, according to GreenPan, a brand of The Cookware Company.

Jacob Maurer, CEO of GreenPan USA, said, “We knew that by partnering with such a sophisticated culinarian as Stanley Tucci, we needed to create the best cookware possible. We have meticulously planned and crafted every detail of this collection with precision, thoughtfulness, and style.”

The Tucci by GreenPan cookware showcases GreenPan’s Woven Induction Technology. The design weaves together bands of stainless steel tightly, then infuses them into a 5-millimeter thick forged base to deliver maximum induction efficiency with high performance on all stovetops and oven-safe up to 600 degrees, according to GreenPan. The base creates a stay-flat cooking surface that keeps oil in place and optimizes food contact for even browning. The bimetal effect of the forged base and the stainless-steel weave creates a push/pull effect that enhances stability, the company added.

Plasma Tech treatment complements GreenPan’s advanced, Thermolon Infinite8 ceramic nonstick coating for enhanced, PFAS-free performance and durability, according to GreenPan. Contemporary shapes and unique handles were individually considered for each pan to deliver a perfect balance and make cooking easier, GreenPan added.

The Italian factory at which the Tucci by GreenPan cookware is being produced was acquired by The Cookware Company in 2021.
