DKK Brands, maker of French press brand Espro and whiskey glassware brand Liiton, has launched ProClad cookware, a hybrid nonstick line said by the company to offer professional-level performance at an accessible price point.
ProClad uses a three-ply stainless steel construction with a 3mm aluminum core and the company’s proprietary TitaniumShield cooking surface. The two-layer, titanium-reinforced ceramic nonstick system sits beneath raised stainless steel ridges designed to protect the cooking surface from scraping and wear, the company said. The cookware is oven-safe up to 900°F and compatible with gas, electric and glass cooktops.
“After 26 years of manufacturing cookware, we’ve learned where pans perform and where they fall short,” said Peng Lin, CEO of DKK Brands. “With ProClad, we had the opportunity to put that experience behind our own brand and rethink hybrid cookware around what actually matters to home cooks: strong searing performance, easy food release, thoughtful durability and a premium product without the premium markup.”
Key features include:
- Three-Ply Clad Construction: The 3mm aluminum core is designed to promote fast, even heating.
- Hybrid Nonstick Performance: TitaniumShield combines a two-layer, titanium-reinforced ceramic nonstick system with raised stainless steel ridges designed to protect the surface from scraping and wear.
- Durable Construction: Fully riveted stainless steel handles and sealed rims help protect the aluminum core from exposure and corrosion for long-term performance.
- Non-Slip Handle Design: The flat-grip handle is designed to resist rotating or slipping while lifting, tilting, pouring and flipping.
- PFAS-free: The cookware is independently certified by TÜV Rheinland to be free of PFAS, according to DKK Brands.
- Finishes: ProClad launched in Slate, with Cream and Terracotta colors exteriors coming soon.
- Glass Lids: Secure-fitting glass lids allow cooks to monitor food during cooking.
- Warranty: ProClad is backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and a 100-day satisfaction guarantee.
