Stainless steel cookware manufacturer Cristel is celebrating 200 years of manufacturing at its Fesches-le-Châtel factory in France with the launch of its 1826 Bicentennial Limited-Edition Collection.
The four-piece Bicentennial capsule collection pays tribute to the company’s French craftsmanship by reinterpreting the tapered silhouette of the saucepan first produced at the site in 1826, the company said. The collection combines the heritage-inspired design with contemporary cookware features and incorporates antique brass hardware, including handles, side handles and lid knobs, as a reference to the company’s manufacturing history.

Cristel’s Fesches-le-Châtel factory dates to 1826 and remains the company’s manufacturing base today. More than 90% of the value of its products is realized on-site, according to the company. Cristel products are now sold in approximately 50 countries.
